Angel Meza
Environmental Lead
Angel currently serves as environmental lead on transmission line and infrastructure projects throughout the Southwest United States. In this role, he oversees various environmental planning, permitting, and compliance activities including pre-project planning, Storm Water Pollution Plan Prevention Planning (SWPPP), land use permitting, regulatory compliance, and restoration.
Prior to joining EEG, Angel worked for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) where he gained extensive knowledge in SWPPP compliance, oil and gas emission monitoring and permitting, surface water quality monitoring (SWQM), wastewater control, and environmental disaster emergency response. Angel brings an innate ability to create strong relationships of trust and communication with project management and construction crews. As a result, Angel has completed all his projects successfully and with zero non-compliance incidents. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Texas A&M International University.
