Katy Stark
Wildlife Biologist II
Katy Stark has 10 years of experience as a wildlife biologist and environmental scientist, mainly focused in the southwestern United States. She has a broad background in environmental consulting, including development and implementation of environmental compliance for a variety of construction industries, preparation of NEPA compliance documents, sensitive species surveys and monitoring, habitat assessments, project management assistance, field crew coordination, environmental awareness training, stormwater inspections, GIS management, data quality control, construction permit acquisition, and extensive backcountry survey experience.
Katy has worked with Energy Environmental Group on projects in Pennsylvania, Utah, Arizona, California, and New Mexico. She has developed strong working relationships with a variety of project proponents and federal, state, and local agencies. She has received numerous USFWS certifications and holds a federal recovery permit to conduct southwestern willow flycatcher and yellow-billed cuckoo surveys in Arizona and New Mexico. She is a member of the National Audubon Society, Desert Tortoise Council, and California Native Plant Society.
